 local time)\n\n## Location\n3952 Pahiatua-Pongaroa Road\, Pongaroa\, Tarar
 ua.\n\nThe race venue is approximately 1 hour from Pahiatua and 1 hour 30 
 minutes from Palmerston North.\n\n## The ride\n6 hour cross country event.
  No look lap.\n\nRiders briefing at 08:30. Start at 09:00.\n\nFundraiser f
 or ISDE riders and riders heading overseas to race the GNCC series in Amer
 ica.\n\n## Classes\n- Club team (2-man team\; overall deciding class for t
 he Battle of the Clubs trophy)\n- Ironman\n- Iron Woman\n- Ironman Vets 40
 +\n- Vets 40+ Team\n- Expert Team\n- Intermediate Team\n- Women's Team\n- 
 Mates/support Team\n- Family Team\n\nFor the overall club trophy\, both ri
 ders in the same club team must be affiliated and enter under the same clu
 b to gain points for their club\, although the club does not need to be MN
 Z affiliated.\n\nTeams not affiliated to a club may still enter and race t
 he event. Mates/support class teams cannot claim points toward the overall
  club trophy.\n\nA club may have as many affiliated teams as they like\, b
 ut only the two highest placing teams from each club score points toward t
 he overall club trophy.\n\n## Fees\n- Team entry: $150\n- Ironman / Ironwo
 man / Iron Vets 40+: $90\n- MNZ day licence: $45 cash only\n\nOnline entri
 es were noted as available soon on Silver Bullet\, with on-the-day entries
  accepted. Cash only please.\n\n## Requirements\n- Riders must be 15 years
  and over.\n- Riders can enter on a Junior or Senior MNZ licence or a day 
 licence\, but the event is also described as a senior-only race and all ri
 ders must be 15+ and on a senior licence.\n\n## Camping and facilities\nCa
 mping noted at Pongaroa camping grounds\, 25 Makomako Street\, Pongaroa.\n
 \nMakuri Domain was also recommended for weekend camping and was noted as 
 the prize-giving location in the afternoon\, with free burgers provided.\n
 \nThe Pongaroa Squash Club next door to the camping grounds may have showe
 rs available for a small cost. The Pongaroa Pub is nearby for meals.\n\nA 
 bar will also be available at prize-giving\, cash only.\n\nOther accommoda
 tion is available in Pahiatua\, Palmerston North\, and Woodville.\n\nLocat
