 pier-Taupo Road\, Taharua Rd\, Wainui Forest\, about 25 minutes from Taupo
 .\n\nArrows on SH 5 at the Taharua Rd corner\, then just past the one-lane
  bridge turn right into the forest at Homestead Road.\n\n## The ride\nSuit
 able for all 2-wheel abilities.\n\nThe Taupo pumice terrain is described a
 s rideable in all weather. Over 100 km of rolling hills\, winding gullies\
 , firebreaks and jumps\, with many berms and optional expert-only trails. 
 Main trails are freshly groomed after each event.\n\nWeekend trail informa
 tion notes tracks are changed during the year and riders should check at s
 ign-on for updates.\n\nTrails:\n- KTM Trail: 31 km\, fluro arrows\, 7 opti
 onal breakout tracks graded 2-6\n- HUSQVARNA Trail: 25 km\, fluro arrows\,
  4 optional breakout tracks graded 2-6\n- GASGAS Trail: 15 km\, fluro arro
 ws\, 7 optional breakout tracks graded 2-6\n- MOTOREX Trail: 10 km\, fluro
  arrows\, 1 optional breakout track graded 2\n- Kids forest track: 0.6 km\
 , for kids on small bikes\; no full-size bikes unless looking after kids\n
 - Novice kids track: 0.4 km\, for kids learning to ride\; no fast kids ple

 nFood\, coffee and cold drinks for sale.\n\nDemo bikes and hire bikes at e
 ach event. Book hire bikes early. Bike service with Huka Honda.\n\nMotorcy
 cle and accessories displays from AFC\, plus riding gear and outlet deals.
 \n\nAccommodation options in Taupo. Camping available in a paddock near th
 e ride from Friday afternoon. No charge at this stage. The paddock has onl
