 pier-Taupo Road\, Taharua Rd\, Wainui Forest\, about 25 minutes from Taupo
 .\n\nArrows on SH 5 at the Taharua Rd corner\, then just past the one-lane
  bridge turn right into the forest at Homestead Road.\n\n## The ride\nSuit
 able for all abilities on 2 wheels.\n\nNo quads or dogs. This is a forestr
 y rule.\n\nTaupo pumice makes it rideable in all weather and rain improves
  the track. Over 100 km of rolling hills\, winding gullies\, firebreaks an
 d jumps\, with many berms and high traction. Main trails are freshly groom
 ed after each event.\n\nOptional expert-only trails are available\, along 
 with purpose-built novice and kids trails.\n\nWeekend trail information:\n
 - KTM Trail: 31 km\, fluro arrows\, 7 optional breakout tracks graded 2-6\
 n- HUSQVARNA Trail: 25 km\, fluro arrows\, 4 optional breakout tracks grad
 ed 2-6\n- GASGAS Trail: 15 km\, fluro arrows\, 7 optional breakout tracks 
 graded 2-6\n- MOTOREX Trail: 10 km\, fluro arrows\, 1 optional breakout tr
 ack graded 2\n- Kids forest track: 0.6 km\, for kids on small bikes\; no f
 ull-size bikes unless looking after kids\n- Novice kids track: 0.4 km\, fo

 ding gear and outlet store deals.\n\nAccommodation options are available i
 n Taupo and it pays to book early.\n\nCamping is available in a paddock ne
 ar the ride. It is a bare paddock with only 1 portaloo. No charge at this 
 stage. The paddock opens Friday afternoon.\n\nText Dee for camping. No dog
 s\, fires\, or riding around the paddock.\n\nThis is a working forest\, so
  absolutely no entry to the forest before the event on Saturday and Sunday
