 pier-Taupo Road\, Taharua Rd\, Wainui Forest\, about 25 minutes from Taupo
 .\n\nArrows on SH 5 at the Taharua Rd corner\, then just past the one-lane
  bridge turn right into the forest at Homestead Road.\n\n## The ride\nSuit
 able for all 2-wheel abilities.\n\nThe Taupo pumice makes it rideable in a
 ll weather and rain improves the track. Over 100 km of rolling hills\, win
 ding gullies\, firebreaks and jumps\, with many berms and varied terrain. 
 Main trails are freshly groomed after each event.\n\nOptional expert-only 
 trails are available\, along with purpose-built novice and kids trails.\n\
 nWeekend trail information includes:\n- KTM Trail: 31 km\, 7 optional brea
 kout tracks graded 2-6\n- HUSQVARNA Trail: 25 km\, 4 optional breakout tra
 cks graded 2-6\n- GASGAS Trail: 15 km\, 7 optional breakout tracks graded 
 2-6\n- MOTOREX Trail: 10 km\, 1 optional breakout track graded 2\n- Kids f
 orest track: 0.6 km\, for kids on small bikes\; no full-size bikes unless 
 looking after kids\n- Novice kids track: 0.4 km\, for kids learning to rid
 e\; no fast kids please\n- Little Wittle track: 0.1 km\, small and flat fo
 r novice kids\n- MUD Track: 3 km\, can get muddy but fun\n\nTracks are cha

 iders and can be bought on the day for $30\, with a $20 return available\n
 - No entry to the forest before the event on Saturday and Sunday\; this is
  a working forest\n\n## Facilities\nFood\, coffee and cold drinks for sale
 .\n\nDemo bikes and hire bikes at each event. Book hire bikes early. Bike 
 service with Huka Honda.\n\nMotorcycle and accessories displays from AFC\,
  with riding gear and outlet store deals.\n\nAccommodation options are ava
 ilable in Taupo. Camping is available in a paddock near the ride from Frid
 ay afternoon. No charge at this stage. This is a basic paddock with only 1
