 pier-Taupo Road\, Taharua Road\, Wainui Forest\, about 25 minutes from Tau
 po.\n\nArrows on SH 5 at the Taharua Road corner\, then just past the one-
 lane bridge turn right into the forest at Homestead Road.\n\n## The ride\n
 Suitable for all two-wheel abilities.\n\nThe Taupo pumice terrain is descr
 ibed as rideable in all weather\, with over 100 km of rolling hills\, wind
 ing gullies\, firebreaks\, jumps\, many berms\, and high traction. Main tr
 ails are freshly groomed after each event.\n\nOptional expert-only trails 
 are available\, along with purpose-built trails for novice riders and kids
 .\n\nWeekend trail information notes tracks are changed during the year an
 d riders should check at sign-on for updates.\n\n- KTM Trail: 31 km\, flur
 o arrows\, 7 optional breakout tracks graded 2-6\n- HUSQVARNA Trail: 25 km
 \, fluro arrows\, 4 optional breakout tracks graded 2-6\n- GASGAS Trail: 1
 5 km\, fluro arrows\, 7 optional breakout tracks graded 2-6\n- MOTOREX Tra

 guishers are compulsory for adult riders and can be bought on the day for 
 $30\, with a return system giving $20 back\n- This is a working forest\, s
 o absolutely no entry to the forest before the event on Saturday and Sunda
 y\n\n## Facilities\nFood\, coffee\, and cold drinks for sale.\n\nDemo bike
 s and hire bikes available at each event\; book hire bikes early. Bike ser
 vice with Huka Honda.\n\nMotorcycle and accessories display from AFC\, plu
 s riding gear and outlet store deals.\n\nAccommodation options are availab
 le in Taupo. Camping is available in a paddock near the ride from Friday a
 fternoon. There is no charge at this stage and only 1 portaloo. Text Dee.
