 pier-Taupo Road\, Taharua Road\, Wainui Forest\, about 25 minutes from Tau
 po.\n\nDirections: Arrows on the SH 5 corner into Taharua Road\, then just
  past the one lane bridge turn right into the forest at Homestead Road.\n\
 n## The ride\nSuitable for all 2-wheel abilities.\n\nThe Taupo pumice terr
 ain is described as rideable in all weather\, with over 100 km of rolling 
 hills\, winding gullies\, firebreaks and jumps. Main trails are freshly gr
 oomed after each event. Optional expert-only trails are available\, along 
 with purpose-built novice and kids trails.\n\nWeekend trail information no
 tes that tracks are changed during the year and riders should check at sig
 n-on for updates.\n\n- KTM Trail: 31 km\, fluro arrows\, 7 optional breako
 ut tracks graded 2-6\n- HUSQVARNA Trail: 25 km\, fluro arrows\, 4 optional
  breakout tracks graded 2-6\n- GASGAS Trail: 15 km\, fluro arrows\, 7 opti
 onal breakout tracks graded 2-6\n- MOTOREX Trail: 10 km\, fluro arrows\, 1

 extinguishers are compulsory for adult riders and can be bought on the day
  for $30\, with a $20 return available.\n- This is a working forest\, so a
 bsolutely no entry to the forest before the event on Saturday and Sunday.\
 n\n## Facilities\nFood\, coffee and cold drinks available for sale.\n\nDem
 o bikes and hire bikes at each event. Book hire bikes early. Bike service 
 with Huka Honda.\n\nMotorcycle display from AFC\, plus riding gear and out
 let store deals.\n\nAccommodation options are available in Taupo and early
  booking is recommended.\n\nCamping is available in a paddock near the rid
 e from Friday afternoon. No charge at this stage. This is a bare paddock w
