Burt’s Trail Ride Trail

Signposted from the Matata Straights SH2, at Mimiha Road about 5 Km North of Matata. The main track is approx 18-20km long. It has a short cut home for people who don't want to do the whole track (this is about 4kms long). There is a kids track and a family track (this is only 3-5km long designed for children and their parents ONLY). It is "MANDATORY" to carry a fire extinguisher at all times on our rides. Registrations from 8.30 onwards; the gate is opened for people to ride approx. 9am (when the track has been swept). We close the tracks approx 3.00pm. Pricing: (Senior riders are being charged an extra $5 to help pay the Paramedics). Senior- $50; Youth- $25 (10 yrs old up to and including secondary school); Under 10- $10; Family- $100 (includes dad, mum plus up to 3 children under 15). There is no eftpos on site it is cash only. NB: We will have a rain check day if heavy rain looks imminent. This will either be the next day Sunday or the following Saturday.
