About this Ride
Directions: 32 km north-west of Whanganui, heading towards New Plymouth on SH3, turn onto Waitotara Valley Road. Sign in will be at the Ngamatapouri Rugby field roughly 44kms down Waitotara Valley Road, turn right onto Makakaho Road.
Classes: Dirt Bikes, Adventure/Dual Sport Bikes, Quads/4 wheelers. No side by sides allowed.
Terrain: The tracks are on hill country farm tracks and single tracks suitable for intermediate riders and up on dirt bikes, adventure bikes and quads. A and AA-loop options for advanced riders and a kids track.
Other Details: A fundraiser for the Ngamatapouri School. More than 70kms of tracks with lunch included in the entry fee. Free camping available for Friday and Saturday night. Toilets and communal showers available.
Entry Fee: 13 years and up: $40 - 1 day, $75 - 2 days. Under 13: $30 - 1 day, $55 - 2 days, CASH ONLY.
Riders: Protective gear compulsory. No pillion passengers. Motorcycles must be in good repair. Obey marshals and stay on marked tracks. No reverse flow riding.
Safety: No mobile coverage. Dangerous riding not tolerated. 5km/h limit around carpark and staging area.
