Peacock Paradise Trail Ride Trail

Location

Peacock Paradise, 950 Braemar Road, Rotoma, Whakatane District.

A new trail track in the Edgecumbe area on Braemar Road.

The ride

• 2 wheelers only.
• Main track age limit: 12 years and up.
• Main track length: 13 km with 4 hard single line sections off the main loop.
• Moderate/easy freshly groomed trail with some single line for more advanced riders.
• Easy routes on the main trail avoid some hill climbs.
• Short cuts available to get back sooner.
• Approximate 290 metre climb above sea level with views overlooking Whakatane and surrounding areas.
• Kids track roughly 2 km.
• Mini track is a smooth flat loop with a few custom bumps, around 400 metres long, close to the carpark.
• New trials course in the carpark.

• Cash only.
• Adults: $50
• Youth (12 to 16 years): $30
• Children (11 years and under): $10

Facilities

Food truck on site with fresh baking, hot drinks, and cold drinks. Please support the food truck and bring the exact amount of cash needed.

Toilets on site.

Requirements

• No briefing.
• Carpark opens 8am.
• No dogs.
• No BBQs.
• Beware of peacocks.
• Fire extinguishers compulsory.
