The ride
Hard enduro terrain that rewards patience, commitment, and problem-solving under fatigue. Expect steep climbs, endless roots, deep ruts, and no easy lines.
You don’t need to be a professional to enter, but you do need to be prepared to dig deep and keep moving when it gets hard.
The Pines delivered in the previous edition and returns for 2027. Organiser notes describe it as tough, technical, and unforgiving, with refinements planned while keeping the same raw challenge.
Out of the previous field, 13 riders completed the full course and 7 beat the 4-hour cutoff to earn an official finisher medal.
Atmosphere
The event notes highlight strong support on course, camaraderie in the pits, and shared respect between riders taking on something genuinely difficult.
